Freight and commuter transportation will be a part of the plans for the new budget. President Joe Biden seeks to have more funds to work on infrastructure. They want to go big on connectivity. The main focus is on freight, the trucking workforce, and electrification.

What is the budget's main focus?

The White House, through the budget, wants to build on what they have been big on. They want to invest in America and its people. They want to lower the cost of living for the people. They would like to provide good services from childcare and college to health care. They want to develop reforms to ensure that the wealthy and the large corporations pay a fair share.  

The White House has plans to improve infrastructure. They include supporting new factories and manufacturing lines. They will also create more well-paying jobs that do not need a four-year degree. The main target is to improve the infrastructure in place. President Biden insisted that he would ensure American roads, bridges, and highways are made with American products.

The Democrats View

The President Biden believes it will be what the U.S. needs for the next two years. Congressional Democratic leaders have already shown that they will support it. They said the president is investing in America's greatest resource; its people. They are in support of the efforts to reduce the cost of living. They also support having big corporations pay fair shares, creating an economy that works for all. 

The Republicans View

Just as expected, the Republicans have also had their say. They have criticized part of the agendas put forward by the president. They claim that the government is way too much involved. They complain about more spending and debts with lesser freedom, security, and economic certainty. They claimed that despite Americans being strong, the state of the union has become weaker under President Biden. They complained that the budget had been delayed to come out.
